Technical & Spare Parts Specialist

About the role

The Technical and Spare Parts Specialist will support customers and sales representatives by processing warranty and maintenance-related parts requests for KOMPAN’s playground and outdoor fitness equipment.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and emails to process quotes, claims, and orders for spare parts and warranties
• Prioritize, track, and resolve requests from customers, sales representatives, and members of the installation team for parts requests
• Analyze technical documents and research historical installation information to determine warranty coverage for parts
• Utilize excellent customer service skills to respond to all requests and provide continuous communication in a timely manner
• Process quotes and create purchase orders for parts orders using Navision and CRM software programs, updating the requesting party with order confirmation and tracking information
• Collaborate with internal teams for warranty approvals and missing parts requests on active installations, while maintaining knowledge of warehouse inventory

Requirements

• High school or equivalent, with 3+ years of customer-facing experience
• 1+ years of experience preferred in technical processing / inventory control in the building materials or a construction-related industry
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Navision, and/or CRM preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time-management and task prioritization capabilities
• High degree of integrity and professionalism
