About the role

The Technical SETA will provide support in the execution of the lifecycle of a research program from development, source selection, execution, closeout, and transition. The Technical SETA will be responsible for attending meetings, workshops, conferences, and testing events as the Subject Matter Expert.

Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings, workshops, conferences and testing events as a Subject Matter Expert
  • Assist with the development of presentations such as Program Management Reviews
  • Serve as a Liaison between Performers, Test & Evaluation contributors, Government and Transition partners
  • Review, provide analysis, and make recommendations concerning technical reports, data and Performer approaches
  • Examine data sources and literary sources for emerging technology related to the Program
  • Provide technical support and expertise on new concepts beyond the Program within areas of expertise
  • May provide support to the PM with their assigned Seedlings, Studies or Challenges
  • Develop algorithms that can automatically track and match objects—such as people, vehicles, or equipment—across video feeds coming from different, uncoordinated sensors

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a polygraph
  • A Bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, or relevant engineering field
  • FIVE (5) or more years’ experience in computer vision research & development (R&D)
  • TWO (2) or more years of research & development (R&D) experience in machine learning and deep learning
  • TWO (2) experience managing a multidisciplinary research & development (R&D) or test & evaluation (T&E) team, including experience creating program plans, WBS, milestone schedules

Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more of the following qualifications: Experience with large spatiotemporal data architectures, Experience with IRB process and IRB-approved video collection, Experience with OpenMP, Experience deploying computer vision analytics at scale, Experience managing large-scale video collection/annotation, Experience with video collection from security, airborne, and mobile sensors, Experience with video geo-localization, Video re-identification technical experience

Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
