About the role

Participates in the planning, execution, and management of all phases of Fishing, Thru-Tubing, Reverse Unit, Air Packages, Nitrogen Services, and/or Pressure Control operations to ensure delivery of services according to client requirements and expectations. Responsible for supervising technical services operations on well site.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support to crew and clients at the well site; maintains communication with client well site representative, rig crew, and field support staff; communicates with internal and external clients
  • Plans and coordinates operations utilizing technical expertise to determine the need, technique, and use of equipment on a well site
  • Advises customer on proper procedures to perform operations and provide instruction; troubleshoots issues on well site to reduce non-productive time; supervises operations on well site
  • Manages storage and inventories of supplies and fixed assets on the rig
  • Ensures work is performed in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as company and industry standards
  • Prepares and delivers comprehensive job documentation
  • Trains, coaches, and mentors trainees
  • Develops expertise on advanced techniques; participates in knowledge sharing
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in open-hole and/or cased-hole operations
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant product line experience
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Extensive knowledge of Fishing, Thru-Tubing, and related services
  • Extensive knowledge of Motors, Pumps, Compressors, Power Swivels, and pressure control relating to drilling, completion, or production operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6-8 years of work experience
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite

Physical Requirements

  • Basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions: Frequently
  • Operation of heavy equipment or vehicles: Frequently
  • Lifting/pushing objects weighing over 50 lbs: Occasionally (max 71 lbs)
  • Climbing and working in awkward and cramped positions: Frequently
  • Pushing a maximum force of 56 ft./lbs
  • Pulling a maximum force of 56 ft./lbs
  • Ability to work on level and unleveled surfaces, as well as up and down ladders and stairs
  • Exposure to inclement weather, bright lights, loud noise, dust, gas, and/or fumes
