Technical Service Specialist, Data Centers

What you'll do as a TSS with our Data Centers Team

• Sales support for our Data Centers group fielding technical questions, project planning meetings, travel to support projects and project management
• Partner with recruiting/first interviewer, support service center manager with technician planning
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs
• Be a mentor for Technicians as directed
• Either out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites

Skills and experience required

• A high school diploma/GED
• 10+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs (Technical Service Specialist)
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
• Experience with 5S/6S (GSCS)
• Based on customer requirements, may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs

Pay and benefits

Pay range: $115,000 to $165,000
