About the role
LATICRETE International seeks a dynamic individual to join our team. As a member of our dedicated and experienced staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the installation and use of physical building materials. Your responsibilities will involve providing technical advice to architects, contractors, and distributors, reviewing architectural blueprints, and conducting seminars for various construction professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical service to architects, contractors, and distributors to advise on proper material selection for specific applications.
- Review architectural blueprints, details, and specifications to advise on proper material selection for specific applications.
- Draft specifications and details for architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors.
- Prepare technical documents and literature for architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors.
- Conduct seminars for architects, distributors, contractors, and other construction professionals.
- Investigate and settle customer service and product complaints diplomatically and professionally within authorized limits.
- Handle input and requests from sales and field personnel and update job files.
- Identify and forward leads to the sales department.
- Maintain professional conduct.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
- Two years of experience in technical support of a building material or product preferred.
- Fluency in a second language preferred.
- Physical strength to lift and carry at least 50 pounds frequently.
- Knowledge of architecture and construction practices and materials.
- Knowledge of LATICRETE products and applications preferred.
- Knowledge of competitive materials preferred.
- Technical communication and presentation abilities (some of which may be on short notice).
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
- Intermediate knowledge of and functional proficiency in ERP and CRM systems; Oracle EnterpriseOne and SalesForce1 CRM system preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of computer systems, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule is flexible and includes some international travel.
