Technical Service Representative

About the role

The Technical Service Representative will collaborate with the Technical and Claims Departments to address cross-functional, high-impact problems.

Responsibilities

• Work with inspectors on schedules and submit schedules to the Technical Director each week.
• Maintain/review all in-progress projects submitted by Inspectors each week.
• Handle inquiries from building owners, contractors, architects, consultants, distributors, code officials, insurance industry personnel, and sales representatives via phone and/or email.
• Represent Malarkey on pre-job inspections with sales.
• Review reports from on-site inspections this week.
• Ensure non-conforming field issues are elevated to the Technical Director as required.
• Travel with inspectors on a quarterly basis.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor degree in relevant field.
• Experience: 5 years of roofing or similar industry experience.
• Travel: 10%.

Additional Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• RRO accreditation preferred.
• Physical Labor: Moderate, including climbing ladders and walking on sloped surfaces.
• Weather Conditions: Subject to hot and cold temperatures found on jobsites in various weather conditions.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
