Description
Join our Technical Support team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to groundbreaking scientific research and innovation. As a Technical Service Engineer III, you'll provide expert-level support for customers using Cell Sorting, Spectral Flow Cytometry, and related Flow Cytometry technologies, collaborating with researchers worldwide to optimize instrument performance and analytical outcomes. You'll utilize remote diagnostic technologies while building strong relationships with field teams, R&D, and customers. This role combines technical problem-solving, customer interaction, and continuous learning as you work with advanced scientific instrumentation.
Requirements
- B.S. strongly preferred (or equivalent working experience 3+ years hands-on experience with cell sorting instrumentation) or higher in science/engineering, or related field
- Experience 3+ years of experience using, servicing, supporting, or troubleshooting Thermo Fisher Scientific Life Sciences instruments or comparable technologies.
- Hands-on experience operating, supporting, maintaining, or troubleshooting cell sorting and spectral flow cytometry instrumentation is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a Flow Core Facility, Shared Resource Laboratory, biotechnology company, clinical laboratory, CRO, or research environment supporting multiple users is highly desirable.
