About the role
We are seeking Technical Sales Support for Crusher Wears to join our Metso team! You will be responsible for providing technical and commercial support to customers, through comprehensive understanding of the products, support soft-wares and application areas.
Responsibilities
- Support customers with PL input to optimize crusher wears, spares, and screens; train and align Market Areas on wear readings and recommendations.
- Act as the local product expert for Crusher Wears and related services.
- Manage field activities including measurements, scope definition, parts and material selection, and product application.
- Perform or support on site wear measurements as required.
- Engage with customers to review wear profiles and optimization plans.
- Prepare wear reports and evaluations, including CAD based visualizations and proposal drawings.
- Collaborate with Product Lines, service hubs, and LCS to reduce maintenance costs and improve reliability.
- Support Sales and Proposal teams with complex solutions, market intelligence, and benchmarking activities.
Requirements
- 5–10 years’ experience in heavy industry, preferably with mineral processing and crushing/screening equipment.
- Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of crushing and screening processes and applications; CAD proficiency required.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Proven customer focused mindset, with experience working in service oriented environments.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project leadership skills, managing multiple priorities in a fast paced setting.
- Highly motivated and resilient, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and identify value adding improvement opportunities.
- Willingness to travel frequently, often on short notice.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 5–10 years’ experience in heavy industry, preferably with mineral processing and crushing/screening equipment.
