Technical Sales Specialist (Southeast)

About the role

Join Bio-Techne, a company dedicated to enabling cutting-edge research in Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostics. We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to sell high-end spatial biology capital equipment and associated services and consumables to biopharma and academic institutes.

Responsibilities

• Support discovery, translational, and clinical research programs
• Conduct on-site and remote demos and run basic staining assays
• Collaborate with customer support and marketing teams to provide high-quality customer experience
• Attend conferences and customer meetings, presenting products and applications
• Identify and track customer details and feedback
• Manage customer databases
• Travel frequently to customer sites (50-80%)

Requirements

• Biology background: Master or PhD degree in Biology, Life sciences, Bioengineering, Medicine, or similar
• 3+ years experience in technical sales roles in life sciences research market
• Entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, and long-term vision
• Understanding of spatial biology market and in situ techniques
• Hands-on experience in laboratory settings
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record in life science/diagnostics sales and account management
• Ability to work in a team environment and add value for customer experience

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Pass a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record check
