Technical Sales Specialist
About the role
The Technical Sales Specialist will serve as the primary technical bridge between the sales team and prospective clients. This position is responsible for driving revenue by translating complex product capabilities into tangible business value. You will manage the full technical sales cycle—from initial discovery and requirement gathering to delivering high-impact demonstrations and resolving technical hurdles.
Responsibilities
- Create and conduct technical presentations and demos that present current and future products to potential customers
- Use technical knowledge of product offerings to advise and support sales teams with pricing and estimates and implementation guidance based on customer requirements
- Analyze customers' technical specifications, recommends the best product configuration and installation process, and estimates implementation effort, time, and resources
- Build customer confidence by addressing all technical objections/concerns from prospective customers throughout the sale cycle
- Partner with internal technical and marketing teams to offer suggestions for product enhancements and share insights from customers
- Absorb and communicate customer feedback to improve product offerings

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, systems engineering, or customer-facing technical support
- High proficiency in translating technical jargon into business value for stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain a long-term rapport with a diverse client base
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively

Pay
The pay range for this position is $80,000 (entry level qualifications) to $100,000 (highly experienced). This position is also eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary bonus program based on company and personal performance.
