Technical Sales Representative

Responsible for

  • Resolution of significant technical, scientific, or engineering issues affecting the sales installation and utilization of organization products.
  • Cooking up a course of action with senior technical leaders.
  • Providing insights for the development of customer Value Propositions.
  • Timely feedback on market, customer, and competitive activity.
  • Participating in the development and responsibility for delivering financial solutions.
  • Handling large-sized accounts or selected customers with a complex product mix.
  • Acting as a technical expert in troubleshooting the technical aspects of product sales, manufacturing, and development.
  • Visiting company manufacturing and customer facilities to identify and resolve technical product manufacturing issues.
  • Visiting company manufacturing and customer facilities to identify and resolve technical product manufacturing issues and, in some organizations, the installation repair and preventative maintenance of equipment sales.
  • Serving as a resource for other internal departments and being sought out for advice and solutions.
  • Identifying and initiating problem resolution process improvement and serving as the primary resource to company and customer operations.
  • Driving profitable business growth by prioritizing and executing strategic initiatives.

Qualifications, Skills And Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years' experience with packaging applications.
  • Maintenance or engineering education or completion of advanced trade certification training is a plus.
  • Experience in the corrugated box industry is a plus.
  • Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Drive for Results, Action Oriented, Priority Setting.
