Technical Sales Manager
Position Summary
Client is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Sales Manager to drive the growth of our 10x Genomics Single Cell service portfolio. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role that combines scientific expertise with strategic business development to identify new opportunities, provide technical consultation, and close complex sales.

Qualifications
Business Development: Identify and prospect new customers across academia, biopharma, and clinical research sectors to expand market share in single cell services.
Technical Consultation: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for 10x Genomics Single Cell platforms, providing guidance on experimental design and sample preparation.
Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage the complete sales process including lead generation, technical presentations, proposal development, and deal closing to meet or exceed sales targets.
Customer Success & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, project alignment, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide insights and support continuous service improvement.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or a related life sciences field
3+ years of experience in NGS-related technical sales or field application support
Strong understanding of 10x Genomics platforms and single cell workflows (e.g., scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq, Multiome)
Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet or exceed sales targets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
Preferred Qualifications:
Established network within the genomics research community
Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
Proficiency in utilizing AI tools for marketing content creation
Experience in building or implementing AI-driven automation to streamline sales processes, lead management, and routine administrative tasks
