Duties and Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Territory Ownership
    • Engage directly with customers in your assigned territory.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic account plans.
    • Build meaningful relationships with design, validation, and test engineering teams.
  • Technical Demonstrations & Solution Positioning
    • Deliver compelling demonstrations of Teledyne LeCroy’s oscilloscopes.
    • Translate complex signal integrity, timing, power, and serial data concepts into clear and accessible explanations.
    • Partner with Field Applications Engineers, Product Management, and Marketing to address customer requirements and emerging technology trends.

    Required Education, Skills, and Experience

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical discipline.
    • Technical Skills & Competencies:
      • Understanding of electronics fundamentals, including circuits, signals, digital systems, and embedded/ECU-level architectures.
      • Ability to quickly learn and apply high-speed serial test methods, oscilloscope measurement techniques, and emerging high speed serial electrical standards.
      • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret waveforms, debug issues, and reason through complex system behavior.
    • Experience: 0–2 years of experience gained through internships, co-ops, senior design projects, competitive engineering teams, or hands-on lab coursework.
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience with electronics, high-speed interfaces, and measurement tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers).
      • Leadership experience in engineering teams, student organizations, or project-based environments.
      • GPA of 3.3 or higher preferred.

    • Excited to contribute to next-generation power electronics, AI-enabled systems, IVN architectures, and high-speed digital design.
    • Willing to relocate to Chestnut Ridge, NY during the development program, and later to the assigned territory.
