Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & Territory Ownership
- Engage directly with customers in your assigned territory.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic account plans.
- Build meaningful relationships with design, validation, and test engineering teams.
- Technical Demonstrations & Solution Positioning
- Deliver compelling demonstrations of Teledyne LeCroy’s oscilloscopes.
- Translate complex signal integrity, timing, power, and serial data concepts into clear and accessible explanations.
- Partner with Field Applications Engineers, Product Management, and Marketing to address customer requirements and emerging technology trends.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Understanding of electronics fundamentals, including circuits, signals, digital systems, and embedded/ECU-level architectures.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply high-speed serial test methods, oscilloscope measurement techniques, and emerging high speed serial electrical standards.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret waveforms, debug issues, and reason through complex system behavior.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience gained through internships, co-ops, senior design projects, competitive engineering teams, or hands-on lab coursework.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronics, high-speed interfaces, and measurement tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers).
- Leadership experience in engineering teams, student organizations, or project-based environments.
- GPA of 3.3 or higher preferred.
- Passionate about technology and enjoys hands-on engineering work, but also thrives in roles that involve customer interaction, communication, and strategic thinking.
- Energized by autonomy, ownership, and building something meaningful—whether that’s territory growth, customer relationships, or long-term account success.
- Enjoys solving technical problems and can explain complex engineering concepts in a clear, approachable way.
- Excited to contribute to next-generation power electronics, AI-enabled systems, IVN architectures, and high-speed digital design.
- Willing to relocate to Chestnut Ridge, NY during the development program, and later to the assigned territory.
