Technical Sales Engineer

About the Role

Matix is seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer specializing in Cloud Integration to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based platforms that process and analyze data from our IoT hardware. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between our IoT devices and the cloud, enabling real-time data collection, storage, and insights generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications that integrate with Matix's IoT hardware solutions.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Develop APIs and services to facilitate seamless data flow between IoT devices and cloud storage/analytics systems.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud applications, with a focus on data encryption and secure transmission.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, data scientists, and other developers to optimize the integration of cloud services with IoT platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud integration and performance.
• Continuously monitor and improve the scalability and efficiency of cloud solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cloud computing and cloud integration, particularly with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience with cloud services and tools such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of IoT protocols and data formats like MQTT, HTTP, JSON, etc.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
