Bonjour Co., Ltd. is an autonomous trucking innovator founded by industry veteran Xiaodi Hou that is building Level 4 self-driving trucks. Headquartered in Houston, the company operates its own driverless freight fleet, focusing on selling hauling capacity to shippers rather than just the underlying autonomy software for the future of logistics. You will drive the full-cycle recruitment of elite engineering talent for a cutting-edge autonomous vehicle startup. Partnering with hiring managers, you’ll source and hire specialists in machine learning, robotics, and perception. This six-month contract offers a unique opportunity to build the core team and infrastructure for a company revolutionizing the freight industry. Location: San Francisco, USA.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from proactive sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter to initial screenings, interview coordination, and offer closing.
- Partner with engineering leadership to define technical requirements and hiring priorities for specialized roles in AI, robotics, and infrastructure.
- Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines through professional networks, university outreach, and employer-branding initiatives to ensure long-term hiring success.
Requirements
- Has 1–3 years of experience in technical recruiting, ideally within a high-growth startup or a specialized agency environment.
- Possesses a solid understanding of deep-tech domains such as machine learning, perception, autonomous driving, or robotics engineering.
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and the adaptability to navigate a fast-moving environment where priorities and headcount needs evolve quickly.
