Technical Quotation Specialist

About the role

This role is for a technical expert who can handle complex customer inquiries and provide detailed solutions for industrial hose and gasket products.

Responsibilities

• Build non-SKU, application-specific quotes for industrial hose or gasket products
• Handle escalated technical questions from customers and internal sales reps
• Read and interpret technical drawings to recommend the right product solution
• Apply deep knowledge of industrial hose or gasket applications to solve real problems
• Partner with Sales to support quoting, account development, and customer retention
• Ensure orders, delivery commitments, and customer accounts are managed smoothly

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of industrial hose or gasket products and applications
• Experience building custom, non-catalog quotes
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication skills
• 1+ year of B2B customer service experience
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (a plus)
