Technical Publications Manager

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Contribute hands-on to documentation while mentoring writers
• Design and implement documentation content structure across product suite
• Build and maintain content authoring infrastructure
• Partner with support teams to plan comprehensive customer-facing content
• Manage technical writing team including hiring and performance management
• Write substantial portions of user and administrator guides
• Define documentation processes and establish quality standards

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical writing; 3+ years managing writers at a SaaS company
• Hands-on experience authoring large, complex administrator and user guides
• Implementation experience with enterprise authoring tools like MadCap Flare or Paligo
• Experience designing documentation structure for multiple products
• Ability to move teams from ad-hoc to systematic documentation approaches
• Experience using AI tools for content generation and process automation
