Our company has grown rapidly through acquisition. 14 companies have joined our organization over the past five years, and many continue to operate with their own legacy tools, network hardware, and processes. We're looking for a Technical Project Specialist to take ownership of our active IT project backlog and drive it to completion. This is a project-execution role, not a helpdesk or ticket-queue role. You will not be pulled into day-to-day support tickets. Your job is to live inside our project management system, own a defined set of technical initiatives (network installs, system audits, tool consolidations, and merger integration work), and move them from "To Do" to "Done." You'll follow documented plans and standards, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, and escalate technical design decisions to the Head of IT rather than making them solo. Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned) Own the Project Backlog Manage the full active project list in Asana as your primary workspace.Timelines, statuses, blockers, and stakeholder updatesBreak down larger initiatives into trackable tasks and keep documentation current as work progressesProvide regular status updates to the Head of IT on progress, risks, and blockers across all active projects Network Installations & Deployments Execute on-site Unifi network installations at multiple office locations (Portsmouth, Dallas, St. Louis, Kansas City, Minneapolis and our Columbia office), following documented network standardsSupport Unifi Fabric configuration and Unifi Identity rollout under guidance from senior IT staffAssist with network documentation and consolidation effortsDeploy and configure conference room/shared-space technology (Poly X30, Neat Bar, etc). Audits & System Consolidation Execute the Google Workspace audit (users, security groups, shared drives) using a defined audit checklistExecute the Cloudflare DNS security audit and support domain consolidation across legacy company domainsSupport consolidation of duplicate SaaS tools (Zoom, Asana, Slack) across acquired companiesRun the license cleanup effort, identifying and removing redundant or unused software seats Endpoint & Asset Management Execute the Jamf deployment for Apple devices at our Dallas office, following provided configuration standardsOwn day-to-day asset management tracking and device shipping/logistics for new hires and office movesExecute desk hardware standardization at acquired offices (e.g., TIH desk standardization) against a defined equipment list M&A Integration Support Support IT integration tasks for newly acquired companies: account migrations, network onboarding, tooling consolidation under direction from the Head of ITHelp consolidate scattered IT documentation from legacy companies into a single, organized knowledge base Qualifications - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required 1–3 years of hands-on IT experience (Specialist I) or 3–5 years (Specialist II).
