Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate complex technical projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage the technical aspects of the project, ensuring quality and adherence to scheduling constraints.
  • Align the project with the overall unit roadmap, constraints, and plans.
  • Work with product teams to prioritize tasks and resolve issues or conflicts.
  • Oversee and track project releases and closure, integrating all relevant components (e.g., lessons learned, KPIs).
  • Automate project processes to improve quality and speed.
  • Promote cross-divisional communication, strategy, and tactical planning to maximize revenue generation.
  • Build and manage an effective and engaged multi-disciplinary project team, often in a matrix structure, to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Travel and work in the field as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Information Technology (strongly preferred).
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Project Management, or Telecommunications (optional but beneficial).
  • 6-8 years of experience in technical management, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience leading project management aspects such as schedule, budget, resources, or risks.
  • Experience in the wireless telecom domain and general knowledge in software development, delivery, testing, etc.
  • Managerial experience (direct or matrix).
  • In-depth applied knowledge of standard program/project management concepts, practices, and procedures.

Skills

  • Project Management Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) (strongly preferred).
  • Telecommunications-Specific Certifications: Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or CompTIA Network+ (strongly preferred).

Pay

Pay range in the United States: $96K - $144K based on geography, skills, and experience. May also be eligible for performance incentive opportunities based on company and individual goals.
