Technical Project Manager – Remote

We’re partnering with a leading Life Insurance organization delivering large-scale transformation initiatives. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Delivery Manager to drive delivery across complex, business-critical programmes. This role focuses on bringing structure to ambiguous programmes, keeping delivery on track across multiple teams and stakeholders, and working across Business, Technology, Engineering, and third-party partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across complex transformation and migration programmes.
• Drive dependency management, governance, and project controls across multiple workstreams.
• Manage programme risks, resolve delivery issues, and keep projects aligned to critical timelines.
• Lead release orchestration and cutover planning for large-scale implementations.
• Hold stakeholders accountable, drive decisions, and create alignment where priorities conflict.
• Provide clear delivery reporting, escalate risks where appropriate, and ensure commitments are met.
• Bring structure and leadership to programmes that require recovery or stronger delivery governance.

Requirements

• Strong background in Project Management and Technical Delivery.
• Experience recovering or stabilizing large-scale transformation programmes.
• Confidence managing complex stakeholder environments and driving accountability across senior business and technology teams.
• Ability to ensure projects deliver against fixed business deadlines.
• Previous experience within the Insurance industry (particularly Life Insurance) or another highly regulated industry such as Financial Services is highly beneficial.
