About the role

Jabil is seeking a Technical Project Manager who will directly contribute to the transformative growth within our Global Cloud Test Development (GCTD) team in the Cloud Enterprise and Infrastructure (CE&I) division by applying unique and innovative approaches to solving problems within a large-scale production environment. You’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary manufacturing test projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners. You're equally comfortable explaining analyses and recommendations to executives as discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers. You will interface with internal engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, as well as end customers, to ensure project deliverables meet Jabil’s world-class manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and lead test initiatives for a defined customer (internal or external) or user, providing full accountability for project schedules, management, and performance requirements for infrastructure, test development, and Framework-level projects.
  • Ensure all NPI (New Product Introduction) requirements—including Infrastructure, Server, Rack, and GCTD test projects—are correctly gathered, understood, and translated for execution.
  • Drive NPI test project/program tasks to completion in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Support Infrastructure NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) planning, implementation, and coordination with Factory teams.
  • Collaborate end-to-end with customers (internal or external) from test requirements gathering through new product introduction and factory acceptance.
  • Review NPI Server, Rack, and GCTD test project schedules with functional managers allocated to NPI projects.
  • Obtain and summarize current test project information and milestone status versus the project performance baseline.
  • Report NPI: SUT (System Under Test), RUT (Rack Under Test), and GCTD test project status, issues, implemented solutions, and evaluations of results.
  • Triage technical bugs and feature requests alongside engineering stakeholders for prioritization, resourcing, and tracking execution.
  • Manage GCTD test resource capacity and time tracking allocated to NPI test projects.
  • Accountable for overall NPI: Server (SUT), Rack, and GCTD test project success, including schedule, quality, and scope management.
  • Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the test department and across Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared.
  • Coach others through difficult decision-making situations.
  • Drive clear and consistent test project update messages for diverse audiences, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
