Technical Project Manager (Infrastructure)
About the role
CGI is seeking a dedicated Technical Project Manager to join our team in Dallas, Texas, in a hybrid environment. You will lead large technical initiatives supporting enterprise data platforms in a cloud-based environment, solving important business and technical problems as a full-time consultant serving local, enterprise clients. Responsibilities
- Manage project execution from planning through implementation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Manage risks, dependencies, and blockers to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.
- Drive project outcomes in a fast-paced financial services environment.
- Work across enterprise infrastructure, database, cloud, and architecture teams.
- Oversee release management, implementation planning, and change management processes.
- Balance multiple projects or workstreams while prioritizing competing demands.
- Own processes end-to-end, taking projects from planning to completion.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of proven experience leading technical projects using Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Apptio, SDLC processes, and project tracking/reporting tools.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional groups including Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Infrastructure, Database Administration (DBA), and support teams.
- Knowledge of enterprise database environments and AWS Cloud database concepts.
- Ability to identify, manage, and resolve project risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers.
- Strong leadership, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
Qualifications
- AWS Associate Certification and working knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud infrastructure (highly desirable).
- Master’s or other post-graduate degree (preferred).
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification (preferred).
- Experience with Python or Power BI (desired).
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $63,700 to $156,700.
