About the role
As a Technical Project Manager (TPM) II, you will manage the development elements of biomanufacturing projects supporting client programs and services. This on-site role, based in Fargo, ND, reports to the Manager of Technical Project Management and is part of the Project Management team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complex biomanufacturing projects using department standards and tools.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, internal stakeholders, Program Managers, and clients to maintain project timeline data, communicate status updates, manage changes, ensure milestone achievement, and track action items and deliverables.
- Proactively identify potential obstacles and work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute solutions.
- Resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks with internal and external stakeholders constructively to preserve and strengthen professional relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in method development, method validation, quality control, biomanufacturing validation, process development, or technology transfer, ideally pertaining to nucleic acids.
- Proven experience leading relevant departments and/or managing complex projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in SmartSheet, OneNote, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong facilitation and presentation capabilities.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; ability to travel 10%+ as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a CDMO environment.
