Responsibilities

  • Manage complex technical projects from start to finish
  • Coordinate with agile or PRO Project Managers
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Track progress, manage risks and scope
  • Handle projects of varying complexity and technical requirements
  • Create and maintain compliant documentation
  • Monitor and report on tasks, deliverables, costs, resources, issues, and quality assurance
  • Define and analyze metrics to ensure projects stay on target
  • Manage multiple work efforts simultaneously
  • Prepare status reports and present information to organizational leadership, work teams, and client/customer groups
  • Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify resources, and provide guidance
  • Identify, escalate, and communicate critical issues, risks, and program-level decisions
  • Hold team members accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work products
  • Implement performance standards and quality controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum five years progressive project management experience to include managing multiple projects concurrently or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Attributes

  • Familiarity with Project Management Institute Guide and PMBOK
  • Strong understanding of health plan contracting and network operations
  • High-level technical understanding of business requirements with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage small work efforts independently while motivating teams and collaborating with business sponsors to implement solutions
  • Prowess in identifying problems, mediating issues, developing solutions, and implementing corrective actions
  • Demonstrated success meeting budget, timeline, and requirement targets while managing project variances
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, automated project management software, and understanding of Agile/ITIL frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal skills including writing, presenting, and facilitating across all management levels and stakeholders
  • Expertise in budgeting, change management, risk management, planning/organization, and business lifecycle methodology

Pay

The expected hiring range for the Technical Project Manager II is $92,700 - $120,000 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 15%. The current full salary range for this role is $87,000 - $142,000.

We are happy to offer work from home options for most of our roles. To take advantage of this flexible option, we require employees to have a wired internet connection that is not satellite or cellular and internet service with a minimum upload speed of 5Mb and a minimum download speed of 10 Mb.
