About the role

Nexaminds is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate technology initiatives within the healthcare industry. This role will manage cross-functional projects, drive execution across engineering and business teams, monitor project timelines, risks, and dependencies, and ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects from planning through implementation.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate activities across Engineering, Product, QA, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, manage dependencies, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, project status meetings, and executive updates.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives, project priorities, and technical execution.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage communication with internal stakeholders, leadership teams, and external partners.
  • Escalate project issues when appropriate and drive resolution through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize delivery processes and team collaboration.
  • Ensure projects comply with organizational standards, quality expectations, and healthcare industry requirements where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and project governance artifacts.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience managing software development, IT, or digital transformation projects.
  • Proven experience managing projects within the Healthcare industry (providers, payers, healthcare technology, EHR/EMR, healthcare software, or related environments).
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, QA, Infrastructure, and Business stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and traditional project management practices.
  • Experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource planning.
  • Ability to facilitate project planning, sprint ceremonies, status meetings, and executive communications.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting healthcare payers, providers, or health insurance organizations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
  • Experience managing cloud modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or SAFe certifications.
  • Experience working with distributed or nearshore engineering teams.
