Technical Project Manager (Data Centers)

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will lead end-to-end project management for software development and cybersecurity initiatives, facilitate Agile ceremonies, partner with software engineering and cybersecurity leaders, coordinate cybersecurity initiatives, and develop project dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management for software development and cybersecurity initiatives

  • Coordinate cybersecurity initiatives
  • Drive cross-functional dependency management
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards
  • Provide regular updates to Data Center leadership
  • Develop detailed project requirements and documentation
  • Collaborate with construction, operations, and other Data Center departments
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to PMO process development and improvement
  • Identify and address project risks and dependencies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical project or program management
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery methodologies, and technical project execution
  • Experience with project management or program management practices and methodologies
  • Experience managing software development projects and working directly with engineering teams
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable project plans
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

  • Scrum Master certification is highly desirable
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity programs or security engineering teams
  • Experience working in mission-critical environments
  • PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic and great attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a strong desire to make processes more efficient
  • Advanced proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and project tracking/reporting tools
