Technical Project Manager

The company has implemented hundreds of thousands of successful projects, including macro, DAS, small cells, and Wi-Fi, trusted by leading network operators and OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage technical projects within the telecommunications sector
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget
• Lead and manage new product and software feature/package development and implementation for wireless customers
• Manage the strategy, planning, and scheduling of day-to-day activities and support of the projects and activities assigned to complete them effectively and efficiently
• Manage the resources (resources and equipment) for projects and activities to complete them successfully
• Manage the risk and risk mitigation implementation to minimize impacts to the customers
• Interface and communicate with internal teams, management, and external customers
• Manage status reporting to internal teams, management, and customers
• Plan, organize, and prioritize assignments to meet tight schedules

Requirements

• Deep understanding of telecom technologies, project management methodologies, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Engineering or Management Undergrad Degree from an accredited university (advanced degree is a plus)
• Minimum 8 years in Project/Product Management related activities
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Networks and/or Telecommunications Projects
• Previously management of wireless new product and/or SW package development and delivery for a major operator
• Strong background in 4G and 5G networks in wireless technologies
• Experience in developing and implementing Project Management benchmarks and best practices
• Experience in managing multiple projects and/or activities simultaneously
• Experience in developing and managing outside vendors
• Experience working and coordinating activities from multiple groups
• In-direct Personnel Management experience

Qualifications

• Quarterly domestic travel
