About the Role
You’ll lead support for AWS infrastructure, networking, cloud automation, and platform performance. This role involves mentoring development teams on AWS best practices, designing enterprise cloud solutions, and ensuring technical decisions align with security, scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Create mechanisms, standards, and predictable procedures for TPM and scrum team execution.
- Simplify and improve process controls with clear, concise, and timely communication.
- Drive business and technical discussions to ensure effective end-to-end delivery of projects and programs.
- Mitigate risks, escalate with good judgment, and balance short-term decisions with long-term consequences.
- Define business problems, requirements, technology, and delivery plans with a high level of independence.
- Build consensus, secure commitments, and negotiate positive outcomes across teams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive product roadmaps and address bottlenecks.
- Partner with multiple teams across locations to ensure timely delivery of products or solutions.
- Clarify and drive project commitments while maintaining clear chains of accountability.
- Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to ensure alignment with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Coordinate meetings with internal and external project team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
- Facilitate change requests and communicate impacts on schedule and budget.
- Analyze business situations and create processes.
Requirements
- Agile (Scrum) Ceremonies (Grooming/Planning/Standup/Demo/Retro) and Agile Certification (e.g., CSM, PSM).
- Experience with Agile Management Tools (e.g., JIRA).
- CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) and associated tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins).
- Microservices Architecture experience in Cloud (Pivotal Cloud Foundry-PCF) or equivalent (AWS/Azure).
- Computer Science Graduate (Bachelor/Master).
- Experience in programming (e.g., web/mobile development) in earlier career.
- Experience managing web/mobile (Android/iOS) development and program management.
- Experience in the Banking Industry.
- Experience in one of the following Data Engineering Areas: Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Data Analytics, Visualizations, or Master Data Management projects.
- Knowledge in writing ADA-compliant code.
- Experience coordinating with back-end developers for RESTful API development.
- Experience coordinating with UX designers, Business Analysts, QA, and Product Owners for requirement clarification and QA support.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts.
- Design and architect enterprise cloud solutions balancing security, scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Experience in Native Mobile Applications design and technical decision-making.
- Knowledge of CI/CD Tools and DevOps pipelines.
Pay
$130,000 to $160,000 per year.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Computer Science (or equivalent degree).
