Technical Project Manager

Contract-to-hire position, hybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday onsite in Irvine, CA).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for data migration and reporting projects, including scoping, planning, and validation.
• Develop detailed project plans, risk registers, and status dashboards for stakeholders.
• Oversee migration of data from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift).
• Coordinate the migration of reporting assets to new BI tools.
• Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in data, analytics, or technology infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing data warehouse migrations and BI/reporting platform transitions.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and reporting best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to present to senior leadership.
