Key Responsibilities
- Participate in technical discussions with customers, partners, and strategic stakeholders.
- Explain AI capabilities, deployment approaches, and system architecture to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support implementation projects, technical workshops, and solution design activities.
- Prepare technical materials for business development activities (e.g. demos, proposals, RFP responses).
- Work closely with clinicians, product managers, and commercial teams to understand real-world healthcare challenges.
- Gather internal and external feedback to inform product development priorities.
- Communicate upcoming platform changes and support successful feature adoption.
- Contribute to research publications and thought leadership.
- Work closely with engineers to understand the product development and roadmap.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure high standards of software quality, testing, documentation, and maintainability.
- Monitor performance of deployed features and drive continuous product improvement.
- Translate business and product goals into clear technical priorities and deliverables.
- Contribute to definition and execution of the AI product and technology roadmap.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and assess relevance to platform evolution.
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in engineering and architecture.
Requirements
- Technical Experience:
- Degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Informatics, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience building and deploying AI / ML / DL / NLP / LLM systems in production environments.
- Proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks and tools (e.g. PyTorch, Transformers, Scikit-learn, OpenAI Codex, Claude Code).
- Experience with data engineering, APIs, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
- Experience working with structured and unstructured healthcare data or complex enterprise datasets.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and modern development workflows.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Skills:
- Experience leading technical projects or mentoring engineers.
- Comfortable engaging directly with customers and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and pragmatically.
- Strong product mindset and focus on delivering real user value.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience integrating with healthcare systems (e.g. EHR platforms such as Epic or Cerner).
- Experience building commercial software products in regulated environments.
- Publishations or research experience in AI / ML / DL / NLP / LLM or biomedical informatics.
- Startup or scale-up experience.
