Technical Project Manager
About Us
Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible. We’re a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients. In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals — supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi worldwide. Backed by nearly $100 million in funding, we’re growing in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Own the end-to-end technical project plan for enterprise implementations — defining milestones, managing timelines, tracking dependencies, and driving ownership and accountability across internal and external teams.
- Technical Scoping & Planning: Lead the creation of detailed technical project plans in collaboration with Engineering and the Solutions Engineer, translating customer requirements and solution briefs into structured, executable delivery plans.
- Implementation Planning & Coordination: Lead implementation planning sessions with customer IT, clinical informatics, and operational stakeholders — aligning on integration approach, configuration requirements, and go-live readiness.
- External Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers post-signature, managing expectations, communicating progress, and ensuring customers feel supported and informed at every stage of the implementation.
- Internal Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the voice of the customer internally — bringing back field feedback, surfacing bugs and product gaps, and escalating issues to Engineering and Product with the context needed to prioritize and resolve them quickly.
- Customer Success Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with Customer Success to ensure a seamless implementation experience, with clear handoffs, shared context, and a unified customer-facing presence.
- Risk & Escalation Management: Proactively identify risks to timeline or scope, manage change requests through a structured process, and escalate issues before they become customer-impacting problems.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a Technical Project Manager, Implementation Manager, or customer-facing delivery role in SaaS, healthcare IT, or enterprise software
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise implementations from kickoff through go-live
- Technically fluent and comfortable discussing HL7 and FHIR integrations, SSO, and data workflows
- Experience working directly with healthcare providers, health systems, or EMR, such as Epic and Cerner
- Exceptional organizational skills: Able to manage multiple enterprise implementations simultaneously without dropping the ball
- Strong communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are equally comfortable in an engineering standup and an executive status call
- A natural escalation manager: You surface problems early, not after they've already impacted the customer
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where process is still being built
Our Culture
- Build to Last: We design for safety and reliability so clinicians, patients, and our teams can trust what we build every day.
- Own Your Practice: Ideas rise on merit, not title, and everyone shares responsibility for the standards we set together.
- Move Fast, Stay Steady: We move quickly but never at the cost of trust. Progress only matters if people can depend on what we make.
- Make Others Better: Honest feedback, steady support, and shared growth keep our teams improving together.
