Technical Project Manager

About the role

Our client, Investment Management Technology is seeking a US_East | Project Manager_L2 to join their team. As a US_East | Project Manager_L2, you will be part of the Investment Management Technology department supporting cross-functional delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technology delivery leadership, disciplined program governance, and the ability to align stakeholders across Business Operations, Technology, Data, Risk, and Compliance which will align successfully in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple strategic technology initiatives through planning, execution, implementation, and stabilization across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Establish and maintain delivery governance including milestones, delivery plans, RAID management, and executive reporting frameworks to ensure predictable execution.
• Coordinate delivery across business stakeholders, technology teams, operations partners, and external vendors to drive timely decisions and clear accountability.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery issues, risks, and dependencies; provide clear visibility into progress, blockers, and outcomes.
• Manage project financial oversight including budgets, forecasts, resource planning, and vendor engagement tracking to support delivery value and transparency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Technology Delivery, Project Management, Program Management, PMO, or related leadership roles.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies, with the ability to tailor governance to program needs.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, resource planning, vendor relationships, and executive reporting.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence outcomes without direct reporting authority.
