About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager to support new product development programs within a fast-growing engineering organization. This position will play a critical role coordinating cross-functional teams, managing program schedules, tracking engineering deliverables, and ensuring successful execution of complex capital equipment projects.
Responsibilities
- Support new product development programs involving multiple engineering disciplines.
- Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
- Track project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Assist with engineering program budgeting and cost tracking.
- Serve as a key interface between: Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Technology Teams, Executive Leadership.
- Coordinate communication between internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Drive alignment across teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Support engineering resource planning activities.
- Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and project documentation updates.
- Help identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Drive the development, execution, and completion of complex engineering projects.
- Support procurement, manufacturing, and engineering activities throughout project execution.
- Ensure project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined and achieved.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field.
- Experience managing or coordinating engineering or technical projects.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with: Project scheduling, Change Orders / ECOs, BOM management, Cross-functional coordination, Status reporting and project tracking.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including: Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with semiconductor equipment, capital equipment, industrial machinery, or automation systems.
- Familiarity with electro-mechanical products including: Motors, Vacuum pumps, Robotics, Heaters, PLC-controlled systems, Instrumentation.
- Experience with SAP, ERP, or MRP systems.
- AutoCAD or SolidWorks exposure.
- Knowledge of product development and engineering workflows.
