Technical Project Manager

TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING Join a large, established enterprise organization supporting a portfolio of complex technology initiatives Work closely with technical delivery teams, project SMEs, project controls, and business stakeholders to drive projects from planning through execution Support projects involving software, communications/telecom, and technical infrastructure, with exposure to cybersecurity and SDLC initiatives Operate in a structured project environment utilizing Agile, Hybrid Agile, Stage-Gate, and traditional project management methodologies What They Offer You Opportunity to manage highly visible technology projects within a large enterprise environment Exposure to cybersecurity, software, telecom, and other technical delivery initiatives Hands-on ownership of project schedules, Agile delivery, forecasting, risk management, and project gating Opportunity to work extensively with JIRA, Microsoft Project, Excel, P6, and enterprise project management tools Highly collaborative role partnering with technical teams and project leadership across multiple workstreams What You Will Do Manage multiple technical projects and workstreams across the full project lifecycle Partner with Agile delivery teams to oversee Features, Epics, Stories, and backlogs and ensure alignment with project schedules and deliverables Plan and manage monthly sprints, maintain JIRA backlogs, and identify and resolve project impediments Track project schedules and quickly assess schedule impacts associated with Agile delivery Perform monthly cost and schedule forecasting Manage project scope, requirements traceability, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams Prepare projects for Stage-Gate reviews, including identifying and completing required artifacts for upcoming gates Partner with project SMEs to develop estimates, scope baselines, and scope-tracking documentation Maintain project plans, reporting, risk documentation, and other required project artifacts Facilitate Agile ceremonies, project meetings, and larger cross-functional working sessions as needed BACKGROUND PROFILE Solid technical project management experience supporting software, communications/telecom, or comparable technology projects Strong knowledge of Agile, Hybrid Agile, SDLC, project lifecycle, and Stage-Gate processes Strong experience with JIRA, including backlog management and technical delivery roadmaps Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; strong overall Microsoft Office skills required Strong experience with project scheduling, forecasting, scope management, and risk management Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 preferred Familiarity with Active Risk Manager (ARM) or comparable risk management tools beneficial Cybersecurity project experience or knowledge is a strong plus PMP and/or PMI-ACP certification preferred LOCATION Charlotte, NC Candidates must be local to Charlotte Open
