Technical Project Manager and Power Platform Developer

DSA is searching for an experienced professional to fill a role as a Technical Project Manager and Power Platform developer within our DOD Business Unit.

About the role

The selected candidate will perform project manager, senior business analysis, and Power Platform developer functions, leading a diverse team of technical support personnel. This role requires extensive customer engagement, embedded within the customer organization, and a deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison, embedded in the customer organization, with MilTech Solutions for all services and products.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of and visibility across all products and services and how they are utilized within the MilTech customer base.
  • Utilize traditional Agile project management methodologies to lead and participate in customer efforts; act as Scrum Master to facilitate customer meetings.
  • Develop information briefings, analysis of alternatives, recommendations, decisions, and status updates for the customer, including senior government and military leadership.
  • Perform analysis based on business requirements and detailed examination of solutions available in the MilTech portfolio, across the customer base, and other sources.
  • Translate business needs into development requirements through regular customer meetings and coordinate with internal MilTech divisions to implement requirements.
  • Coordinate all internal MilTech activities as an advocate for the customer, providing a single face to the customer across all capability sets.
  • Track MilTech and customer project efforts and provide regular detailed project information on performance and schedule to stakeholders.
  • Ensure products are being used effectively and develop methods to increase usage, positive mission impact, and return on investment across all capabilities.
  • Apply Knowledge Management principles, including tacit and explicit knowledge collection techniques, to advise customers.
  • Assist the customer in implementing and sustaining Army Records Management functions, understanding statutory records management and policy.
  • Provide Microsoft SharePoint Online (SPO) support and content management.
  • Prepare technical papers, assessments, and implementation plans in response to specific project requirements, including processes and procedures.
  • Lead a team of developers and dedicated support specialists assigned to the customer organization.
  • Support development and delivery of data visualizations, Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate solutions.
  • Engage directly with customers to define project requirements and manage expectations.
  • Design, build, and maintain model-driven and canvas Power Apps to support and enhance program and organization operations.
  • Design and maintain automated workflows and business process integrations using Power Automate to enhance organizational efficiency and connectivity.
  • Author and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).

Requirements

  • Active or current Secret Clearance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) management, knowledge management, business analysis, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of Power Apps development and delivery experience.
  • 1-5 years of Power Automate experience focusing on business process automation.
  • Advanced SharePoint Online (SPO) experience with a proven understanding of how SharePoint fits into the M365 ecosystem.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate acceptable solutions, and deliver qualified results.
  • Demonstrated track record of following through on commitments.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, manage changing customer priorities, and transition between multiple tasks.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint Online (SPO), OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Exceptional analytical, innovative, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills and experience creating detailed reports and presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • History of supporting successful projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Proven experience in information security awareness and practices required by the DoD and/or Army.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Professional experience supporting project management and solution delivery to DoD organizations.
  • Proven ability to participate in the analysis of IT and business issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management in a leadership role.
  • Ability to report on-site at the customer location in Orlando, Florida.
  • Foundational knowledge (with some experience) in Power Pages, Dataverse, and Premium Capacities.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience and understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite of tools.
  • COMPTIA Security+ certification (preferred upon hire but must be acquired within 90 days for otherwise well-qualified candidates).
  • Computing Environment (CE) certification relative to the position (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform 200, 300, or 400; other related certifications can be considered). Certification preferred upon hire but can be acquired within 90 days for otherwise well-qualified candidates.
  • All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and/or an approved equivalent AI solution.

Qualifications

  • Experience building model-driven applications in Power Apps.
  • Data Architecture experience.
  • Experience supporting and interacting with senior leaders or executive level.
  • Understanding of Power BI Premium Workspaces.
  • Ability to work with ambiguous and/or limited requirements.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible, and receptive to constructive feedback.
  • Power BI development experience.
  • Understanding of data visualization solutions and data modeling.

Pay

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

Salary Pay Range: $115,000 - $142,000 USD.
