Technical Project Lead
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate complex customer projects from the acquisition phase through specification to mass production, with a strong focus on our SiC power transistors (chips and discretes)
- Be the technical point of contact for our strategic customers (OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers) regarding the use and integration of our SiC products into their applications (e.g. traction inverters, charging systems, solar inverters, industrial drives)
- Proactively consult our strategic customers on the use and integration of our SiC products into their applications (e.g. traction inverters, charging systems, solar inverters, industrial drives)
- Provide input for the product roadmap based on customer requirements and needs, market trends, and competitive analysis within the SiC segment
- Coordinate internal project resources (R&D, Applications, Quality, Production, Sales) to ensure timely and successful completion of customer projects
- Create and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions at customers, conferences, and internal meetings on SiC products and their applications
- Monitor competition and the market landscape in the SiC sector to strengthen our positioning
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Semiconductor Physics or a comparable field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in technical project management or as an application engineer in power electronics, ideally with a clear focus on power semiconductors
- Sound knowledge of Silicon Carbide (SiC) power transistors (MOSFETs, diodes) and their applications (e.g. in e-mobility, renewable energies)
- Deep understanding of the specific characteristics of SiC components (e.g. switching behavior, thermal management, gate driving, parasitics) and their integration into power electronic circuits
- Evident experience in customer interaction in a technical consulting or project manager role
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical issues
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a structured, results-oriented way of working
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and conferences (up to 30%)
