About the Opportunity
The Technical Project Engineer will step into a highly technical, execution-focused implementation role designed to serve as the foundational engineering engine for new client lifecycles. This position takes complete hands-on ownership of the technical deployment architecture required for complex client onboardings, secure migrations, strategic offboardings, and infrastructure lifecycle projects. By blending technical systems deployment with exceptional project coordination, the Engineer ensures rapid, secure, and zero-downtime migrations—directly establishing systemic institutional trust, safeguarding client operational continuity, and forging long-term cross-functional partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Lead the hands-on technical deployment of core systems, identity services, and cloud environments during net-new client launches, executing advanced network configurations and mass user enrollment pipelines
- Orchestrate and govern structural data transitions, coordinate access control cuts, and manage migration handoffs seamlessly with outgoing IT infrastructure teams
- Build, update, and preserve meticulous, hyper-detailed architectural diagrams and technical documentation within centralized IT knowledge bases
- Monitor project critical paths, milestones, and deployment health metrics continuously to ensure rapid, on-time delivery without backlog
- Serve as the primary tier-3 technical escalation layer for onsite deployment teams, capturing granular technical dependencies and environment configurations
- Execute technical decommissioning and complex client offboarding sequences with absolute security, ensuring permanent data sanitization and access revocation
- Architect and deploy auxiliary full-stack infrastructure and technical modernization projects as dictated by client roadmap requirements
- Audit legacy onboarding playbooks continuously, developing optimized automated configuration templates and streamlined provisioning processes
- Archive historic project artifacts, close active network tickets, and conduct formal post-implementation reviews to confirm precise operational handoff
- Deliver an elite, high-touch onboarding experience that establishes immediate corporate credibility and operational trust with client stakeholders
Qualifications
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressive, professional IT engineering experience within an active MSP, cloud consultancy, or high-volume enterprise help desk environment
- Robust technical command of modern business productivity suites and cloud infrastructure environments (specifically deep administrative exposure to Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, or Microsoft Azure)
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills paired with verified full-stack diagnostic capabilities across networking, virtualization, and identity management models
- Superior written and verbal communication capabilities, showcasing a natural ability to translate complex cloud architecture realities into clear concepts for business stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal presence, demonstrating the emotional intelligence required to confidently engage and influence stakeholders across all corporate echelons
- High cognitive agility, featuring a proven capacity to rapidly self-train, absorb, and deploy emerging infrastructure technologies
- Access to a dedicated, physically secure remote home office setup equipped with a high-speed, highly stable internet connection
- Full, uninterrupted operational availability to support core corporate business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time (PT), Monday through Friday
Pay and Compensation
- Target baseline compensation framework: Highly competitive baseline salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000 USD per annum
