EngineeringFull-time

Until July 1, our business was part of BASF. As part of the current transition, all job listings and the application process are still hosted on the BASF platform and presented in BASF branding. All roles are positions at Surventis, and your application will be submitted to us.

About the role

At Surventis, we go beyond the surface—in everything we do. We put customers at the center, think one step ahead, and develop solutions that create real value and lasting partnerships. We inspire each other to think further, take ownership of our work, and constantly push to elevate what's possible.

Reporting to the North America (NA) Global Technical Project Manager for Key Accounts, this regional supporting role provides an opportunity to make a significant difference to the success of the organization. You will support Account Management in managing Surventis OEM customers throughout North America, with an emphasis on technical projects to deliver and maintain profitable organic growth.

The role requires a moderate to advanced degree of technical, commercial, and business acumen, necessitating collaboration across multiple hierarchies both inside Surventis and with our OEM customers. We seek a self-starter with strong organizational and analytical skills, along with moderate long-term strategic thinking.

  • Lead color development activities from design phase through implementation, both internally and externally.
  • Lead technology approvals with customers to ensure cost targets and timelines are met.
  • Identify key business risks, propose mitigation measures, and manage Surventis risk related to current and future opportunities.
  • Manage and prioritize lab projects (R&D and customization) with the technical organization.
  • Work closely with operations to prioritize and execute efficiency projects.
  • Direct internal teams to meet customer deadlines and align support for projects globally.
  • Support paint shop launches and troubleshooting projects internally and externally.
  • Support regional and global Key Account Management teams.
  • Travel approximately 20% of the time, including some global travel, to support customers across North America and beyond.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a technical field.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Strong communication skills across all internal functions.
  • Experience managing projects and meeting timelines.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for efficiency improvement and drive actions to completion.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
