Technical Program/Project Manager

About the role
This is a 2 days/week in-office requirement role (Sandy Springs, GA).
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Head of Lending Program Management as a Technical Program/Project Manager, leading Lending projects and initiatives while influencing product, engineering, delivery, and partner teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- Plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Effectively deliver business results by championing a culture of accountability and consistent application of project & program management practices.
- Facilitate and motivate, working across departments and offices to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and successful delivery of programs and projects.
- Help guide and deliver value to a large business initiative or multiple important projects.
- Responsible for helping teams achieve their goals, work strategically together, and remain adaptable in an ever-changing environment.
- Lead project planning sessions, coordinate staff and internal resources, manage project progress and adapt work as required, ensure projects meet deadlines, oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation, design risk mitigation plan, conduct project review, and create detailed reports for executive staff.
- Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.
- Initiate new projects, manage large and diverse teams, understand relationships and impacts of programs and initiatives across business units, apply specialized knowledge of industry standards/practices to portfolio, programs, and initiatives, track and update project status using project management tools and expertise, demonstrate mastery of program strategy and execution within the business domain, represent your business area internally and externally, provide recommendations on complex program dependencies affecting other initiatives, provide analysis and thought leadership on issues critical to the success of the business's strategic goals, understand strategic partners' objectives, advise on necessary programs for success, provide value to Indeed, develop a roadmap or framework for programs, drive strategic alignment across business units to succeed against company-wide goals, own business outcomes by working with business area leaders to influence strategy, drive adoption of new processes across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with software developers, scrum masters, and/or product managers as a technical project/program manager at a technology company.
- Lead cross-functional coordination and team communications to deliver high impact project outcomes in a technology company.
- Work closely with software engineers, QA, product managers, and other engineering teams to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (build, test, and release on time).
- Execute corporate-wide initiatives: defined program plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support.
- Lead multiple technical programs, leading cross-functional teams to take products to market, ensuring success metrics are informing future efforts, and fine-tune the program as needed.
- In-depth experience with specific agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFE.
- Highly adaptable in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment; able to thrive within ambiguity.
- Data-driven.
- Confident and capable of producing weekly status reports and executive updates.
- Decisive - gather necessary data to make informed, critical decisions quickly.
- Natural team-building, motivating, and conflict-resolving qualities.
- Familiarity with organizational maturity and related transformation.
- Strong in prioritization frameworks and matching skills to the right work.
- Comfortable discussing technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people.
- Demonstrated experience influencing senior management and setting expectations for major cross-functional initiatives.
