About DeepMind's Sustainability team: Our programme’s mission is to revolutionize environmental sustainability with AI. We have an active portfolio of projects where we are applying AI towards challenging problems in grid operations, renewable energy, weather modeling, biodiversity, and agriculture. We work on both real-world applications as well as root-node research problems, aiming to achieve fundamental breakthroughs using AI to benefit science and society. You will work across disciplines and within a highly-global team that welcomes collaborators across our US, UK, India, and European locations. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to manage internal research team operations and external launches (of papers, code, products, etc.) for one or more applied AI projects in our Sustainability research program. In this role, you will be ensuring research outputs are well-organized, aligned with our organizational priorities, time-managed, and ambitious in nature.
