About the role

The Deployments Team at Fluidstack runs the network deployment program, managing everything from construction handover to customer-ready compute. They ensure that the fabric, including racks, fabric, and validation, is ready for customers. Key responsibilities include coordinating with construction, deployment, and compute schedules to avoid delays, tracking material readiness at the SKU level, and closing dependencies across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Run the network deployment program: manage turn-up schedules, material readiness, and cross-team dependencies per site.
  • Track material readiness at the SKU level when it matters.
  • Challenge status updates by knowing enough networking to question existing practices.
  • Closely coordinate with other teams to ensure dependencies are resolved promptly.
  • Coordinate with construction, deployment, and compute schedules to ensure the fabric is never the bottleneck.
  • Report network deployment status with link-level truth, not optimistic summaries.

Requirements

  • You have program-managed network builds or turn-ups at scale.
  • You track material readiness at the SKU level when it matters.
  • You know enough networking to challenge a status update.
  • You close dependencies across teams that don't report to you.
  • Bonus: Experience with hyperscale network programs, optics supply chains, turn-up automation, and program tooling.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
