About the role

FaST (Fashion Subsidiary Tech) Site Experience owns the customer front-end for the Zappos.com and Shopbop shopping experiences. We seek a Senior Technical Program Manager to work with Zappos and Shopbop senior leadership teams, driving solutions to our most ambiguous problems. The role involves creating a vision and leading through influence to achieve goals, overseeing critical projects shaping how end customers perceive and interact with our brands across digital and physical systems. The TPM will partner daily with tech and business department leaders to build trust and alignment and leverage their technical expertise to ensure the right technology is delivered in the right way.

Responsibilities

  • Build project plans that deliver on highly ambiguous goals.
  • Create and implement mechanisms to coordinate complicated and impactful efforts.
  • Dive deep with engineering teams and stakeholders to build and refine requirements.
  • Act as a catalyst for delivery by helping unblock teams and build alignment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $163,600.00 - $221,300.00 USD annually.
