About the role

Amazon Healthcare Security's (HealthSec) AI team is hiring a Technical Program Manager to drive delivery of AI security initiatives across Amazon Health Services (AHS).

Responsibilities

  • Own cross-team coordination, dependency management, and delivery tracking across three parallel programs: securing AHS GenAI applications in production, hardening the AI-SDLC for AHS builders, and driving adoption of AI-powered security tooling that scales protection across healthcare verticals.
  • Work closely with HealthSec security engineers, AHS AI application builders, product teams, and cross-org stakeholders (AWS Bedrock, AppSec) to ensure programs deliver on time while navigating complex dependencies across multiple external teams.
  • Ensure programs deliver on time while navigating complex dependencies across multiple external teams; manage escalations with senior leadership, drive stakeholder alignment, and maintain delivery across initiatives that directly impact HIPAA compliance, Amazon security bar, and AHS builder productivity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
  • Experience building and effectively executing a strategy from the ground up, including designing roadmaps to drive incremental progress towards long-term vision and goals
  • Experience managing programs with cross-organizational dependencies across 4+ teams

Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML technologies
  • Experience with AWS technologies
  • Experience in security, compliance, or regulated industries (healthcare, finance)
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements or healthcare data handling
  • Track record of managing programs that span engineering, legal, privacy, and compliance stakeholders

Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage complex dependencies and prioritize tasks
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies
  • Knowledge of security standards and regulations relevant to healthcare
