Technical Program Manager II, AI Tools and Design, Android Auto
About the Role
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade‑offs in product development with engineers.
Android Auto is bringing the magic of Google into automotive. We are available in cars worldwide and projecting to grow by leaps and bounds this year in terms of features and user base. This role sits at the center of the ecosystem of Android, phone manufacturers, automakers, and partners. You’ll drive operational excellence, ensure our technical products adhere to the highest standards of quality and system performance, and guide AI process innovation across engineering workflows, deploying AI‑driven tools, prompts, and automated telemetry systems to scale triage, accelerate root‑cause resolution, and build the next generation of release‑readiness operations.
