Technical Program Manager, Databases

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the roadmap across all strategic pillars for database infrastructure
• Coordinate with a diverse set of partners including vendors and internal teams
• Manage relationships with external vendors and cloud providers
• Drive dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs for critical database infrastructure
• Create comprehensive program documentation including roadmaps and risk assessments
• Facilitate consensus and timely resolution of technical decisions among stakeholders
• Ensure successful execution of initiatives that enhance database availability and scale

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in technical program management
• Experience with database, storage, or core infrastructure programs
• Proven track record managing external vendor or cloud relationships
• Familiarity with cross-region, multi-cloud, or hybrid cloud infrastructure (preferred)
• Highly organized with the ability to manage parallel workstreams across distributed teams
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
• Strong interest in operating AI infrastructure safely and reliably
