Technical Program Management Director - Security (Trust & Infrastructure)

About the role
The Director of Technical Program Management for Security within Trust & Infrastructure will provide strategic and execution leadership across some of Salesforce's most critical security initiatives. You will lead a portfolio of complex, cross-functional security programs, partner with senior Security, Engineering, and Product leaders to establish strategy and priorities, and build the operating mechanisms required to deliver measurable security outcomes at scale. This role is based in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Bellevue, Seattle, or Chicago.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional security programs — partnering with Security, Engineering, and Product leaders to align on portfolio vision, strategy, and program scope, and cultivating executive relationships to drive strategic objectives.
- Conduct program reviews to facilitate key decisions, eliminate roadblocks, and resolve issues, ensuring programs deliver on time.
- Identify and mitigate program risks, orchestrate resolution of complex cross-functional dependencies, and ensure data is collected to inform decision-making.
- Deliver transparent program status reporting with actionable insights on decisions, dependencies, risks, and metrics, while fostering a collaborative, innovative team culture.
Requirements
- Experience in the security domain in enterprise security, product security, detection and response operations, and/or security engineering.
- Master communicator across all organizational levels, from individual engineers to senior executives.
- Proven track record of managing large, complex projects, with emphasis on the organization and presentation of data to facilitate decision making.
- Ability to thrive on fostering a culture of ownership, delivery, and innovation within the security domain.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with driving security requirements across large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with compliance and security standards, policies, and risk management.
- Familiarity with Salesforce's product ecosystem or similar enterprise platform environments.
Pay
The typical base salary range for this position is $171,200 - $273,000 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $205,800 - $298,400 annually. The range represents base salary only and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits.
