About the role
This is a strategic, high-stakes leadership role for iOS and system services fundamentals for AR. In this role, you will be the technical authority for the iOS architecture and delivery of the next generation of products. You will oversee a critical portfolio that ensures first-time integration for AR with iOS as well as system services fundamentals like media components. You will also lead mission control to ensure that the organization executes with high velocity while retaining stability and quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategy, define, lead, and own the execution of strategic XR programs from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with the overall product goal and business objectives.
- Drive program schedules, identify risks, manage dependencies, and communicate status to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships, build alliances, and advocate for program needs across different organizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, UX Design, Research, and Operations to deliver high-quality XR products and services.
- Lead triage with tech leads on incoming challenges for your focus areas.
- Manage a team of TPMs, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in technical program management.
- 7 years of experience in a leadership role with/without direct reports.
- Experience delivering software and hardware projects, within iOS.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience driving and influencing large teams, including executives (e.g., Executive Director/VP level).
- Ability to develop in ambiguous situations, establish structure, and lead programs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Benefits
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
