About the role
The Technical Program Builder will architect the R&D operational engine at Hinge Health, leveraging AI, automation, and smart infrastructure to streamline cross-pod coordination and enable teams to move faster with clarity and precision.
Responsibilities
- Audit & Identify: Assess R&D operational processes and identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation and tooling improvements.
- Create a clean system of processes across R&D.
- Build Relationships: Establish trust with R&D leadership and pod leads, understanding their pain points and operational bottlenecks.
- Quick Wins: Deploy initial automated agents or scripts to streamline the most repetitive R&D workflows.
- Leverage AI, automation, and smart infrastructure to eliminate manual coordination, reduce operational drag, and enable teams to move faster with clarity and precision.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, product operations, or a related engineering role.
- Demonstrated experience building custom AI agents or utilizing LLM APIs to drive productivity and automation.
- Proven track record of managing comprehensive planning cycles and OKR processes for technical teams.
- Experience with modern project management ecosystems (e.g., Jira, Linear) and documentation platforms (e.g., Notion, Confluence).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex process changes to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Requirements
- Strong understanding of Developer Experience (DX) metrics and how to influence them.
- Background in software engineering or data analysis.
- Certification in Agile or Project Management (PMP, CSM).
- Experience working in a high-growth technology environment.
- Experience working in Health Tech and familiarity with healthcare regulations.
