Technical Production Supervisor

About the role

Responsible for the oversight of technical production services for the Theatre. Manages the theatre stage and backstage area to include hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of technical crew members. Negotiates contractual services for lighting, sound, special effects, equipment, staging and wardrobe. Monitors the budget to ensure that expenditures are within the budget guidelines as directed by the Theatre Director.

Responsibilities

• Researches and recommends purchase of systems, equipment and materials.
• Affords technical support for video, audio and multi-image presentations.
• Performs regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment and machinery.
