About The Role

Our Fortune 15 Health Services client is seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner to join their Specialty Pharmacy IT team. In this pivotal role, you will support critical initiatives within the IT–Specialty organization, ensuring technology products, systems, and services align with business objectives and deliver measurable value. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, software engineers, scrum teams, product managers, operations leaders, analytics, and technology teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and manage projects from concept through delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with operational expertise and thrives in an Agile environment, driving initiatives that enhance operational performance and support pharmacy objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide product ownership and business direction for cross-functional operational, strategic, and tactical initiatives supporting Specialty Pharmacy.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies are completed on schedule.
  • Own initiative execution by proactively communicating risks, roadblocks, and changing priorities to leadership.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to manage product backlogs, prioritize work, and remove impediments throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Assist in defining product strategy and maintaining a product roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor product KPIs, trends, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Perform financial analysis in partnership with resource management teams, tracking savings, margins, and business benefits.
  • Collaborate with analytics and technology teams to develop new reporting capabilities, data sources, and performance metrics.
  • Lead complex technology initiatives while supporting Agile ceremonies, requirements gathering, and solution documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Technology, or related roles.
  • Software development or technical engineering experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting Pharmacy Finance, Billing, Collections, or related healthcare operational functions strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience working within Agile environments utilizing tools such as Jira or Rally.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and successfully drive initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.

Pay

$43 - $47/hr
